1. Serving as the Designated Person Ashore (DPA), overseeing navigation, engineering, and maritime safety

2. Supervising the implementation of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code

3. Evaluating recruitment, appointment, and assessment of seafarers

4. Verifying the content of insurance contracts

5. Conducting internal audits and formulating plans for emergency response drills

6. Reviewing the requests and invoices and ship supplies

7. Conducting annual reviews and evaluations of outsourced maintenance vendors and materials suppliers 

8. Other tasks specified in the Safety Management System (SMS) document OR3M-03

Port Chief Engineer

1. Offering consultation and technical assistance for the engineers

2. Supervising the regular inspection and maintenance of the equipment

3. Arranging outsourced maintenance and servicing projects

4. Evaluating crew recruitment, appointment, and assessment within the engine department

5. Maintaining ship blueprints, inspection documents, certificates, and maintenance records

6. Reviewing the requests and invoices from the engine department

7. Conducting annual reviews and evaluations of outsourced maintenance vendors and materials suppliers 

8. Other tasks specified in the Safety Management System (SMS) document OR3M-03

Ship Affairs Assistant

1. Serving as the contact person for cruise scheduling and coordination.

2. Managing deck-related data and supplies necessary for navigation

3. Assisting in implementing internal audits and emergency response drills

4. Handling recruitment, appointment, discharge, and certification organization of seafarers

5. Processing ship-related invoices

​6. Drafting official documents

7. Other tasks specified in the Safety Management System (SMS) document OR3M-03

R/V NOR3 has a total of 16 members. The crew is divided into three departments: deck, engine, and survey
